R5431Vxxxxx SERIES Li-ION/POLYMER 3/4-CELL PROTECTOR
R5431Vxxxxx系列是基于高压CMOS的保护IC,用于可再充电的三芯/四芯锂离子(Li+)/锂聚合物的过充/放电,此外,还包括防止大的外部短路电流的短路保护电路和防止过大放电电流和过充电电流的保护电路。
这些集成电路由11个电压检测器、基准单元、延时电路、短路保护器、振荡器、计数器和逻辑电路组成。当过充电电压阈值或过充电电流阈值从低值跨越到高值时,COUT pin的输出在内部固定延迟时间后切换到“L”电平。为了在检测到过充电后释放过充电检测器,当充电器与电池组断开,电池电压低于过充电检测器阈值后,当一种负载连接到VDD时,探测器可以复位,COUT的输出变为“H”。如果充电器连续连接到电池组,如果电池电压低于过充电检测器阈值,则也会释放过充电状态。
当放电电压从高值跨越检测器阈值到低于VDET2的值时,DOUT pin的输出,即过放电检测器和过放电电流检测器的输出,在内部固定的延迟时间后切换到“L”电平。
检测到过放电电压后,当电池电压高于过放电释放电压时,过放电状态解除,DOUT输出变为“L”。
通过设置与VDD相同的DS管脚电压,可以缩短保护电路板的测试时间。过充电、过放电和过电流检测器的延迟时间可减少到约1/50。COUT和DOUT的输出类型是CMOS。
